Nygaard - a modern farm!
On Nygaard we have 500 milking cows and produces about 10,000 liters of milk a day. Milking takes place in a traditional 2x28 parallel stable. The 400 hectares of land is grown with grass, corn and sugarbeets for the cows. We have 10 full time employees. Favorite tractor brand, Massey Ferguson.

The fifth cut of grass this year
On November 11 we cut this year's fifth and final cut off grass, 170 HA it was.
All corns is now home
So is the last corn in houseOctober 28, 29 and 30, we took the last stage of corn harvest. We got 125 HA, See the cool chopper video.
Heifers moved to new barn
The new temporary heifer barn is opened, and 35 heifers is moved in. Watch the funny video.
Coverage of this year's straw stacks
This year we had 2 straw stacks of 100 meters and approx. 750 square bales in total. 5 man managed to cover the 2 stacks.

1.500 bigballer og 800 fyrballer skal i hus. så der køres halm for fuld damp.

19. august, 2 ½ måned gammel, fik Mads Peter sin første traktortur med farmand.

400 dansende malkekøer
1. juli kom 400 køer på græs for første gang og det var et smukt syn. Se billederne i fotoalbummet.
8. juli kom Lises føl til verdenen

5 furrowed Kverneland plow
Spring season is just getting started and also the new Kverneland plow is being used.
New Slurry Transport wagon
With the new slurry transport carriage we can give slurry in half the time.
Dalbo Cultimax 800 harrow
Along with spring, the new harrow came to Nygaard and was tested in the good weather.
Massey Ferguson 8690
A new season is around the corner and on Nygaard, we have purchased "Tractor of the year 2009".
Machine List 2010
Operation of the 400 ha of land requires good equipment and the favorite brand is Massey Ferguson.
Endelig kom de sidste roer i hus
På grund af regn i november kom de sidste roer først i hus 14. december. Til gengæld er de kæmpestore.
Selv den bedste laver fejl
Se de forskellige UPS billeder. Der er ikke så mange endnu, men der kommer uden tvivl hurtigt flere.
Den travle årstid
Sensommeren er den travleste tid på gården. Vi høster græs, majs og roer, se billeder i galleriet.
Grise i majsmarken
Første rigtige høstdag på Nygaard blev noget anderledes end forventet. 200 grise slap ud i majsen.
